A collaboration with French and Jupps Maltsters

We're super excited about this one...

Thanks to French and Jupps Maltsters and MJP Water Transport, we have revived the time-honoured tradition of bringing malt down the canal from the maltings in Hertfordshire to the brewery in London, as was done in the 1800s.

To keep ingredients local we've tied this in with the Walthamstow Beer Project's green hops, making a true grain-to-glass brew with fresh local ingredients. A special thank you to James Marinos (French and Jupps) for joining us on the brew day for this collaboration 'Harvest Porter' 4.1%.

Biscuity, roasty and balanced, the brew was tasting amazing on the brew day and we can't wait for the finished beer. Come and join us for the launch on 9th October at Ye Olde Rose and Crown E17 where Harvest Porter and the Walthamstow Beer Project Green Hopped Pale will both be pouring.

This beer wouldn't have come together without the good will and enthusiasm of some great people so a huge thanks to Nicola and the team from MJP Water Transport; as well as James and the team at French and Jupps.
