The Royal Forest Pub in Chingford has reopened, blending modern elegance with its rich Victorian heritage.
Originally opened as The Forest Hotel in 1880 (!) and renamed after Queen Victoria's visit in 1882, this landmark has always been a gateway to the natural beauty of Epping Forest.
Lovingly restored, the pub now features gorgeous rooms, a grand bar area, a south-facing terrace and a lovely 'Forest Room' with sweeping forest views.
The pub celebrated its grand reopening this week. Guests enjoyed a themed celebration with live music, the charm of a horse and cart, and the chance to explore the stunningly restored pub.
We, at East London Brewing, were proud to be part of the event! Set up in the Forest Room, we hosted beer tastings featuring some of our finest brews. Our Cowcatcher APA is included in the cask line-up on the bar, and we are the only independent beer available at present.
Make sure to swing by for a drink, a meal or even a stay!
